April 2011, 12 participants from Los Angeles
embarked on a journey to give photographic
voice to their own stories of being positive.
Piloted first in Los Angeles (2007) as a
tool for visual advocacy, the Through Positive
Eyes project has also been produced in Mexico
City, Rio de Janeiro and Johannesburg. For
