RAFFLE
WINNER
MAKE
ART/STOP AIDS wouldn’t be fulfilling its mission if it kept
the art to itself. In an effort to make art accessible, MAKE ART/STOP
AIDS decided to give art away.
Work by Indian artists Thukral and Tagra was raffled off. Condom
messages on flip-flops and underwear were a big hit. Monica Djupvik
was the first winner and enthusiastically showed up to claim her
prize. Monica works for the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation,
an organization whose “most important task is to contribute
in the international cooperation to fight poverty.”
