Not Alone is an international touring adaptation of the MAKE ART/STOP AIDS Exhibition which toured the South African cities of Durban, Johannesburg, and Cape Town in 2009 – 2010.

 

Not Alone is a visual arts collection that showcases the role of the arts in fighting the AIDS epidemic globally. It was inaugurated in Los Angeles under the title MAKE ART/STOP AIDS. Iconic works included Daniel Goldstein's and John Kapellas’ Medicine Man made entirely of pill bottles, Adriana Bertini’s condom dresses, Thukral and Tagra’s flip-flops, among many others.
